How much does surgery cost? Joint replacement & other surgery costs?

How much does a knee replacement cost? How much does a hip replacement cost?

Healthcare is expensive. Even with private health insurance (hospital admission excess fee $500-750), you’ll often be left paying out of pocket fees to the surgeon (variable), the anaesthetist (variable), the surgical assistant (variable) and not to mention radiology, pathology and pharmacy fees. This can add up.

Dr Collins is fortunate to operate at multiple hospitals where he can offer NO GAP or no-out-of-pocket surgery for appropriately insured patients, including joint replacement surgery, arthroscopic surgery and trauma or fracture surgery.

Dr Collins sees all patients including privately insured, self-funding, TAC and workcover.
TAC & Workcover patients will not be charged any out of pocket/gap fees if needing surgery.

Please contact us for further details or book an appointment with Dr Collins at a convenient location and time. Telehealth appointments are also available if more convenient for you. We’re happy to provide a quote or estimate for your surgery.
